Welcome to the start of the spooky Music Mondays for the month! Before we get to the list, I need to make some disclaimers. This inherently was hard to pick because I wanted the horror/spooky/eerie aspects to be coming from the music video visuals, as opposed to just the music. Because of this, I was very limited in the actual options that I could find. Just enjoy this list in its sometimes really terrible quality, ok? It’s hard being an International fan sometimes.
Read MoreWhen I first started this blog, I used to do Friday movie reviews. What better time to start them off than now. Today we are reviewing the 1998 Korean horror film, Whispering Corridors.
Read MoreOctober has officially started, and I’m kicking off the month with a video recommending ten spooky Asian dramas that you can find on Netflix/Amazon. At least as of right now.
Read MoreOctober is going to be a little crazy so I don’t know how much watching I’ll be doing. As it is my favorite time of the year I decided that if I was stuck inside might as well make the best of it. While I’m not participating in any events like Vlogtober, I will be doing a version of that. Between the blog and videos I will be posting almost every day. It’ll all be themed for the season. So if you are into horror, and all things creepy that focus on Asian entertainment (and probably some non-Asian things, to keep things wild), make sure to check back tomorrow!
Now, onto the wrapup of last month’s watching.
Read MoreGoing into this drama I was kind of wary. I was interested, but I didn’t know if the comedy would deter me. I’m sorry, most comedies just aren’t for me and can really hinder my enjoyment of a drama. I’m still on the fence about this one, but it does some things that are sort of interesting and had some unexpected moments.
Read MoreI haven’t done one of these small spotlights on a Japanese group yet, so I figured it was finally time. Today we are talking a bit about the female-led Japanese math rock band, Tricot.
Read MoreInstead of doing dedicated full out posts on 2PM and DAY6 in celebration of their anniversaries (which were separated by three days), I decided to combine the two and focus on some of the wonderful resources and things that the fandoms have been creating that I personally use and watch.
Read MoreAnother month has passed, and I actually watched and completed a good amount of dramas.
Read MoreI would normally not do this but against my better judgment I, in my no sleep state, will be reviewing the album. I’m sure that when I go sleep and come back to this post I’ll see that no sentence makes any sense and all my interpretations are wrong, but this is what we’ve decided to do.
Read MoreIn honor of Dreamcatcher’s comeback today, here’s a list of my top five favorite main music videos, and my top five special/b-side music videos.
Read MoreJuly FLEW by. I watched a fair amount, I was supposed to read a fair amount but didn’t. Such is life. This might be fairly long, so grab a drink and let’s talk about how July went, and talk about some of the things that I will be doing in August (it’s a lot).
Read MoreI wasn’t as productive on the challenge this week as I thought I would be. I had some other things to watch and do, and it cut into my schedule. Not going to lie, I’m not having high hopes of being able to complete everything by next week…but we are still going to try.
