There are some groups that I know in passing, and always say to myself that I’m going to deep dive more into them whenever I have the time. There are also some groups that I’ve known for a while, and then one day I become obsessed with and Boyfriend is currently that group. So I need to talk about them.
Read MoreHere we are in week two, and I feel highly accomplished, yet also like I’m completely failing. In exciting and happy news I finished Dream High! I did it! That was so hard, but I’m done and we can check it off the list. I’ve been making a lot of progress on Shall We Fall in Love as well. I’m on episode 18. I’ve been trying to make a push to get that one done. I sadly haven’t been able to start any other dramas for the challenge like I wanted to have done this week. Dream High took a lot out of me, I’m sorry.
Read MoreI thought it would be fun for this Music Monday post to list my favorite Korean debuts. No particular order, but just cause it seemed fitting I alternated between female/male. I rarely actually get into a group from the very beginning. These are the groups where I like their debut songs enough to put them in my playlist rotation.
Read MoreI bought a lot of DAY6 goods and they finally started coming in so I decided to a long unboxing video over the month or two that they were all coming in:
As promised, here are some closeups. I got more cards than that is here, as you can see in the video, but decided to only focus on the DAY6 fanclub kit and Demon pulls.
Read MoreI wanted to update on some things for those who may or may not care about some of the blog projects that I’ve been working on that have been ongoing for a while, but haven’t yet been finished.
Read MoreI haven’t done a post like this in a while, and there’s always good music coming out that I know you all are missing. This is my plea to listen to them. Find them. Love them. I also included some that are technically end of May releases, shh. It’s fine.
Read MoreI haven’t done a first impressions in a while, and what better drama to talk about then the recently premiered, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.
Read MoreSo I’m crazy and decided to do something in July, and you can join me if you want. I’m using readathon setups to dictate what dramas that I’ll watch. It’s been something I’ve wanted to do for a while, and have slightly worked this into readathons that I’ve done in the past by taking some of the prompts for what book to choose, and translated it to which drama was chosen, but I’ve never done it for just dramas alone. And I’ve never seen anyone else do it. I don’t necessarily keep up with readathons the way others do, but what I do really like about them is the challenge of fitting what to choose based on the rules. It helps when you are bad at making decisions. And if you are like me, sometimes you’re so bad at making drama decisions which then leads to just turning on Criminal Minds again for the fortieth time to not have to think.
Read MoreSince it is summer, and I’ve been lacking on Flavor Profiles it seemed only fitting to dedicate this month’s Flavor Profile to the queens of summer bops: SISTAR.
Read MoreOn the never-ending quest for getting books back into my life and now that I’m officially unemployed (till…May?), I’ve been searching for some upcoming readathons to fill my time. Readathons help me finding and making the time to read, and the prompts for what books I should pick usually are pretty fun and give me a direction. So as I was browsing I stumbled upon The Olympic Games readathon.
Read MoreThis month actually flew by, how? Here we are with another month of dramas and I *shock* not only watched a lot, I also have some books to talk about since I didn’t update about them in my last post. I know. Who am I.
Read MoreDAY6’s new album, The Book of Us: Demon came out a couple of weeks ago, and since I’ve had some time to sit and listen to it (a lot) I wanted to do a review of the album. I know that by doing a review of a group I consider one of my top groups is probably not something I can necessarily do truly unbiased, I still wanted to mention some of the aspects of the album that I really liked and talk a little bit more about my feelings of the album on a whole.
