I figured just like my monthly drama posts where I talk about what I watched and what I am looking forward to, I would do a separate one for music. I have several places where I talk about some of the music that I’m into at the moment, but a dedicated post seems fitting.
Read MoreIf you don’t follow kpop, or you don’t follow it past listening to the music you are missing out on some prime content. One of those things is the scare pranks. I like these over the other “hidden video” pranks that are a thing in kpop entertainment. They tend to just be nicer cause it’s usually the members just hyping themselves up because of the unknown, as opposed to being blindsided with a real-life issue. They scream, they get over it, no real tears shed. So here’s a list of some of my favorites.
Read MoreWelcome to the start of the spooky Music Mondays for the month! Before we get to the list, I need to make some disclaimers. This inherently was hard to pick because I wanted the horror/spooky/eerie aspects to be coming from the music video visuals, as opposed to just the music. Because of this, I was very limited in the actual options that I could find. Just enjoy this list in its sometimes really terrible quality, ok? It’s hard being an International fan sometimes.
Read MoreI haven’t done one of these small spotlights on a Japanese group yet, so I figured it was finally time. Today we are talking a bit about the female-led Japanese math rock band, Tricot.
Read MoreInstead of doing dedicated full out posts on 2PM and DAY6 in celebration of their anniversaries (which were separated by three days), I decided to combine the two and focus on some of the wonderful resources and things that the fandoms have been creating that I personally use and watch.
Read MoreI would normally not do this but against my better judgment I, in my no sleep state, will be reviewing the album. I’m sure that when I go sleep and come back to this post I’ll see that no sentence makes any sense and all my interpretations are wrong, but this is what we’ve decided to do.
Read MoreIn honor of Dreamcatcher’s comeback today, here’s a list of my top five favorite main music videos, and my top five special/b-side music videos.
Read MoreI wasn’t as productive on the challenge this week as I thought I would be. I had some other things to watch and do, and it cut into my schedule. Not going to lie, I’m not having high hopes of being able to complete everything by next week…but we are still going to try.
Read MoreThere are some groups that I know in passing, and always say to myself that I’m going to deep dive more into them whenever I have the time. There are also some groups that I’ve known for a while, and then one day I become obsessed with and Boyfriend is currently that group. So I need to talk about them.
Read MoreHere we are in week two, and I feel highly accomplished, yet also like I’m completely failing. In exciting and happy news I finished Dream High! I did it! That was so hard, but I’m done and we can check it off the list. I’ve been making a lot of progress on Shall We Fall in Love as well. I’m on episode 18. I’ve been trying to make a push to get that one done. I sadly haven’t been able to start any other dramas for the challenge like I wanted to have done this week. Dream High took a lot out of me, I’m sorry.
Read MoreI thought it would be fun for this Music Monday post to list my favorite Korean debuts. No particular order, but just cause it seemed fitting I alternated between female/male. I rarely actually get into a group from the very beginning. These are the groups where I like their debut songs enough to put them in my playlist rotation.
Read MoreI wanted to update on some things for those who may or may not care about some of the blog projects that I’ve been working on that have been ongoing for a while, but haven’t yet been finished.
